Sing Your Praise

Sing Your Praise

Forged in epochs forgotten, the James Webb Space Telescope wove the ethereal tapestry of the Pillars of Creation. Near-infrared light unveiled newborn stars, while mid-infrared hues whispered secrets of dust-laden veils. Within the vast Eagle Nebula, their light echoes across 6,500 light-years.JWST-NASA

Oh Lord I sing your praise with obedience

As I stand here with my better half

Praising thy instead of praising myself

Because self-praise is a vanity

You are in me, I am in you

Your praise is my praise

For this reason, we are undivided

Despite living separate lives

Your dear love gives me hope and courage

Through our separation, I grow strong like iron

As I deserve to praise thee

Were it not for your sweet love during my leisure

I would be walking alone in the highway with thoughts of love

That tries to deceive me

And you teach me how to be single

By praising you in whom I remain.

You Take Away my Love

You Take Away my Love

Parakeets

What have I gained in falling in love with you?

My whole life has been a mystery without love

Wondering away from place to place

Then, if it was not for you, I would not receive your love

I cannot blame you, for my love is pure like Ganges

But yet I am to be blamed if I deceive you

By conscious effort of what you refuse

I forgive your robbery of my heart

Because you give me happiness

Like no other while stealing away my poverty

Thy love is a great relief

To undergo transformation spiritually

Which reduces my injury

Thankful to God’s grace who turns illness to wellness

And I learn to grow despite my illness and my foes

Whom I keep closer like my friends

Narrow is the Gate

Narrow is the Gate

The Golden Gate Bridge, California

Narrow is the gate that leads the life to heaven

Few are those who pass through it

Understand that you will be judged by the deeds you do

And not by your materialistic possessions

Hear the words of a wise man

Who builts his house on rock

Even the torrential rain and storm does not collapse his house

Whoever does not hear Lord’s word and puts them into practice

Is a foolish man who builds house on the sandy ground

That collapses after the wind blows and rain lashes.

Homage to the Rising Sun

Homage to the Rising Sun

Lord Krishna lifting Govardhana Hill. Photo from Tallenge Store

Homage to the rising sun above the mountain

Lifted up his burning spirit under the sun’s sky

Bestowed with a new sight

Served the Lord with all his heart and soul

And climbed the mountaintop.

Surrounded by the valley

Mirroring Lord Krishna’s youthful exuberance in the middle age

Yet his valor was not limited to fighting his demons

Lifting up Govardhana hill to protect people from flood sent by Indra

Echoing his role as an enforcer of justice and harbinger of enlightenment

But when supernatural adversaries attacked Lord Krishna

He rose to the occasion

Defeating demon King Mauru and his 7000 sons

For Satan couldn’t outwit him

How could they?

For the Lord is on his side; he will not fear

Despite weak age, his wisdom flourishes like a palm tree

And still bears fruit in old age

From his humbleness to his uprightness

He sows the seed of light for the righteousness

Spreading the loving kindness and truth

Is the Lord

Asking us to merely perform our duty

Without being attached to success or failure.

In the Mirror

In the Mirror

My lovely mother

In the mirror, I see my own image

Close to that of my lovely mother

Now is the time to create another face

And repair it from the ground

Charm the world like Shakespeare

Bless the mother with a womb

For hers is the baby

For whom she undergone a heavy pain

Thy mother’s love to baby is infinite

As the leaves fall and the winter begins

Mother’s love only grows to increase

Despite the wrinkles in her face

But if she lives longer than I

Remember me not

Die I shall single

And her image dies with me

If only I can use my Imagination

If only I can use my Imagination

If only I can use my imagination

I’m saved by grace through faith

When the dreary winters besieged my body

And knocked me down into deep trenches

I found a way out crawling in my knees

Because my love of Christ surpassed all understanding

If only I can use my imagination

I can build a space elevator

Made out of carbon fiber

Transforming the relationship of humanity with space

If only I can use my imagination

I can move at the speed of light

When I am tiny in size

If only I can use my imagination

I can soar like an eagle

Seeing the beauty and tranquility to form peace

If only I can use my imagination

I can walk with the Lord

In the city of God

To capture the lost ring

To save the humanity from apocalypse

For he stops my feet from stumbling

And my eyes from tears

He has freed my soul from death

For the soul is eternal

If only I can use my imagination

I can use multiplication instead of addition

Because the light bulb is an invention of Thomas Edison

Who didn’t fail thousand times

But found thousand ways that didn’t work
